Frequently asked questions

Currently, Express Yourself does not accept insurance and are a cash pay only service. We are more than happy to provide you with a superbill to provide insurance with for potential reimburstment but no guarentee. The goal is so start accepting insurance in the future once I recieve the IBCLC certification. 

Unfortantly, I cannot guarentee results. Milk supply is driven by many factors such as health history, delivery history, stage of lactation, and many many more. If I had a magic wand to help every mom have the supply they desire I would. My goal is to help you optimize and make sure we are using every tool in my toolbox to help you reach your breastfeeding goals.  

My goal is to be your personal ChatGPT and to keep you from doom scrolling overnight. With each consult you will have access to me for 2 weeks of 24/7 text message support related to your initial concerns. I will respond within 24-48 hours (but usually sooner). If it appears a new concern or need is complex a follow up consult may be suggested.

My primary area of focus is on pumping, whether that be exclusive, temporary or intermittent. I personally feel strongest in this area, and want to provide the best care I can for you and your littles. I am more than happy to help connect you with other lactation providers to assist with latching. I continue to grow and gain further confidence and skills with latching to support families further in the future. 

5. Do you offer payment assistance?

I do not offer payment assistance, but am more than happy to help split payments to best support your financial situation. I strongly believe that lactation help should not be prohibited due to finances and will do my best to work with you in any way possible. 6. What areas do you serve?

I am located in central North Carolina based in Fuquay Varina. I feature both in person visits and virtual via telehealth. For in person visits, I serve a 20 mile radius of 27526 free of charge. For each additional 20 miles outside of this, I charge $20 extra. Please dont hesitate to reach out for help in person or virtual! 

7. Who are your services for?

I am so so happy to help anyone and everyone. My primary area of specialty is with pumping parents. This may look like exclusive pumpers, casual pumpers, low milk supply, NICU/PCICU/PICU parents, returning to work, bottle feeding techniques, general breastfeeding education for prenatal parents, weaning and much more.
